Say hello to my twin grandsons! This was taken at our Christmas Day gathering and they totally stole the show. They look so much like their daddy when he was that age, it's like going back in time and seeing double at the same time. And of course, they giggle just like Kevin did, so every time I heard it, which was often, I was transported back to the 70's. Oh, the memories!
I hope everybody has had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Thanks to all who have stopped by my blog and left well wishes and comments. I guess you could say I've taken an extended vacation from blogging, but now feel the pull to get back on and be creative again.
2007 was a difficult year in my career and for the agency. If stress could be bottled and sold, I'd be a rich woman right now. But we got through it and have survived, although it felt at times that I could stand not another day of my job. They say what doesn't break you makes you stronger, so I I'm counting on that. :)
We did find good homes for Peanut, Sally and LaQuinta and they are doing very well, so we are now down to three dogs. I miss the others, but they are now getting lots more individual attention and are spoiled and happy. I have developed problems with my upper back and can't handle bathing and caring for that many dogs any more. I can barely keep up with Buster, Junior and Prissy, so we're better off with just the three.
Ice and I had lots of company through the holidays and enjoyed spending time with our families. I finally took the time to unhook my computer and haul it uptown to get it fixed today. It took all of 15 minutes, since it was only the power supply. But I'm glad it's fixed because blogstream didn't get along with my laptop very well. It would drag so slow that it would finally just lock up and I would have to re-boot the thing. So I spent less and less time on the stream til I finally just stopped. I know.....shame on me!!
Anyway, all is well here on Schnauzer Lane and I hope to get around to all my good friends on the stream to wave a hello....
I've miss you all!
