It's been a busy day for us today. Ice dug through all of last year's receipts to see if any were missed and there were plenty. Then it was a process of getting them entered on the accounting program. So we managed to get all that done and now Ice is studying to see what other deductions we can take. Taxes!!! I hate em.
Other than that, I got four dogs washed today and hosed down the back screened in porch to wash away all the winter dust and grime. It's my favorite place this time of year, and I couldn't wait to get it all clean again. It's about six feet off the ground, so it's almost like being in a tree house, so we sit out here alot in warm weather and eat a lot of our meals here too. I'm out here now with the laptop.

So I'm listening to the crickets, enjoying the night air, and I have a wonderful view of Ice at his desk. Life is good, now all I need is a fresh cup of coffee.....
I took Peanut to the groomer on Wednesday and he looks really funny now. Since he had been shaved for two surgeries, she went ahead and cut him short all over and even made his beard really short. Where his wounds have healed, the skin and hair came back black. I'm not sure if it will eventually turn back to the original color or not, but that's okay. He is completely healed now and is doing great!
So, here is the newest picture of the blogstream "Miracle Dog"

He got to thumb his nose at the other dogs today as they were getting baths one by one, lol. He won't need a bath til next weekend, so he's a proud puppy about that. He's just happy period and is his old self again, one hundred percent, except that he lets me pet him lots more since he got hurt. He's such a sweet little guy!
"Tiny Bubbles" is playing on Ice's playlist. Wow, that song takes me way back. I learned to dance to that song in a place called the Westernaire in Lubbock Texas. Gee, I wonder if the place is still there? Probably not.
I'm starting to get worried that we're in for another dry year. This is de ja vu the way the weather is doing. Last spring, we didn't get the rains we usually get, then nothing til this Spring. Although we got several inches of rain a couple of weeks ago, it has since stopped and none in the forecast. I pray this isn't the beginning of another draught.
Well, I think I'll surf the stream a while and see what everybody's up to while the candle flickers and crickets sing.....
Hey, is that a whipoorwill?
Later, y'all
