Where is everybody?  Hung over from the Christmas Party?  Stay too long in the hot tub?  Did you ever figure out who peed in the hot tub?  I left when the fartin' started, lol.  Actually, I wasn't able to participate much because the phone kept ringing, but had fun when I was able to drop by for a few minutes. 

Today will be a busy day.  I'll have a lot of that chaos Colo talks about in her blog.  I had planned to get ready for the audit at work on Friday afternoon, but....the contractor asked me to meet him at the house and since I was well past ready to get this shower finished, I agreed.  So now, I gotta to the office and get ready for the auditor today.  He's also very late in doing our audit, so when he called to ask when would be convenient, I naturally said "soon as possible".  To which he replied, "the 19th".  Uh oh......so I says "We're having an all day Christmas party on the 20th", to which he replied, "That's okay.  I don't eat much".  lol  So.....it wont' be much of a party for me, but oh well.  Ya gotta do what ya gotta do, right?  Gotta keep those chaotic wheels a'turnin!

My Dad is flying home tomorrow from Alaska and I'm anxious to see him and one of my step sisters and her family are coming through sometime tonight over at my Dad and Stepmother's place and will be there for a coupla days, so I will probably go over tomorrow or Tuesday evening to visit with them.  Dad will be home for a couple of weeks, thank goodness.  Maybe I can talk him into staying home......fat chance.

The glass for the shower has been removed from the living room and installed where it's supposed to be......the shower!  Wooo Hooo!  So now, I can move the treadmill back to it's spot and the Christmas tree can go up today.  Better late than never, right?  The shower is almost finished but we can't clean the glass or touch it until tomorrow evening and it has duct tape on one corner to keep one of the seams secure til the adhesive completely cures.  They encountered a couple of problems with the faucet and the rain water shower head because, believe it or not, the factory didn't package all the parts to em!  Figures.  Anyway, by tomorrow night, all should be installed, the glass will be clean and duct tape can be removed.  And THEN, I'm gonna walk right into that gorgeous, wonderfully large shower and use it for what it was put there for, lol.  And I'm not coming out til I run out of hot water.  It's been a long haul for us.  This was promised to be a four day job that turned into three weeks.  We designed it ourselves because we didn't want a door on it.  It's six feet long and over five feet wide.  I tried to back up far enough to get the entire thing in the picture, but kept falling over the toilet, lol.  Anyway, here is the shower as it looks this morning.

Since we seem to have so much fun with contests, I thought of a new one.  You all know how my devious mind works by now, so here goes...

Everybody has different strengths and talents, so this contest requires that everyone that wants to participate write a story, a poem, a song, draw or paint a picture, whatever your preference, but the theme has to be "The Blogstream Christmas" which involves not just the blogstream experience, but the people within it. 

All entries should be posted on your own blog with the title "Blogstream Christmas" and also notify me of your entry in the comments section of this post.  And....no one is restricted to one entry, so if you have more than one, just add the appropriate number to the title (Blogstream Christmas #2, etc.) and again, notify me of your entry.  Deadline will be 10:00 pm, December 21st. 

Note:  Please restrict your entries to what can be accessed on your blog within Blogstream.  No outside links, please.

Entries can be funny, serious, whatever your preference.  When all entries are posted and the deadline is over, I will then compile a list of the entries for everyone to vote on.
