Ice rented the film "In The Shadow of the Moon" by Ron Howard and we watched it earlier today. If you haven't seen this, I recommend that you do. It puts the "human element" to the early space program and the 12 men that walked on the moon.
Close to the end of this documentary film, the astronauts were talking about the experience of looking at the earth from space and what a spiritual and humbling experience it was. One of them remarked that it was a spiritual experience much larger than the "religions" that we are used to on earth. Another remarked of seeing this "jewel" of a planet floating around with all the other space particles, an "oasis" in this universe, and wondering why we don't take better care of it.
Good point.
Love to all!

We'll just all share our own opinions of the book we're reading, whatever they are. Good, bad, or ugly.
I have a few opinions about the book and so does Ice, so I'm anxious to read what everybody else thinks after the webcast. I hope to hear from you, my friend. Love ya!
